 When Kraft Foods’ Velveeta (a creamy processed cheese) and ConAgra Foods’ RO-TEL (canned tomatoes and green chilies) are heated together, they make Queso Dip. For years, and with few marketing efforts, people across the country have been combining the two products to make this zesty, creamy chip dip. But only about half the country is even aware of the concoction. So working with both brands and companies, we created the digital hub for this unique partnership to help spread the good word.

The TV campaign features two queso enthusiasts driving their “Quesobago” from city to city on a mission to bring the country together – one bowl of queso at a time. We created a responsive website that amplified the campaign, demonstrated how to make the delicious dip, and tracked the real-world promotional tour (the Quesobago stopping at college football games for sampling events) with social feeds on the site. The content also prompted consumers to submit their own Queso Creations, from which we created recipes and artwork and then featured them on the hub.
